DriversNest — Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the DriversNest mobile application ("App," "Service"), operated by Trong Le, doing business as CodeWithTrong ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using DriversNest, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

DriversNest is a vehicle maintenance tracking application that allows users to log service history, track expenses, store vehicle documents, and (on paid tiers) sync data across devices via cloud backup.

The App is offered in the following tiers:

  • Free — Track one (1) vehicle. Data is stored locally on your device only.
  • Garage+ (one-time purchase) — Track unlimited vehicles. Data is stored locally on your device only.
  • Pro (subscription, monthly or annual) — All Garage+ features plus cloud backup and multi-device sync.

Import and export of your data is available free of charge on all tiers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use DriversNest. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. DriversNest is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

3. Accounts

An account is only required to use Pro (cloud sync) features. Free and Garage+ tiers can be used without creating an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account

You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Account deletion permanently removes your cloud-stored data as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

4.1 In-App Purchases

  • Garage+ is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited local vehicle tracking permanently on your account/device, with no recurring charge.
  • Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed monthly or annually through the Apple App Store.

4.2 Billing

Payments are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's own terms and payment methods. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.

4.4 Refunds

All purchases are billed through Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policies; we do not have the ability to independently issue refunds for App Store purchases.

4.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing from time to time. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to future billing cycles, subject to Apple's App Store policies.

5. Your Content

"Your Content" means the vehicle information, maintenance records, notes, photos, and documents you input into or upload to the App.

  • You own Your Content. We claim no ownership over the data you create in DriversNest.
  • Local storage. All Your Content is stored locally on your device by default.
  • Cloud sync (Pro only). If you subscribe to Pro, certain data (excluding photos — see Privacy Policy) is synced to our cloud infrastructure solely to enable multi-device access and backup for you.
  • AI-assisted invoice scanning. If you use the invoice-scanning feature, images of invoices/receipts you choose to scan are sent to a third-party AI provider for text extraction, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is owned by Trong Le, doing business as CodeWithTrong and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Disclaimers

DRIVERSNEST IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

DriversNest is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide mechanical, safety, or legal advice, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of any maintenance reminders, cost estimates, or data extracted via invoice scanning. You are responsible for verifying your vehicle's maintenance needs with a qualified professional.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRONG LE, DOING BUSINESS AS CODEWITHTRONG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Because Free and Garage+ tiers store data locally only, you are responsible for backing up your own device. We are not liable for data loss resulting from device loss, damage, or failure to use the cloud sync feature.

Our total liability arising from these Terms or your use of the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
